Privacy Policy

StorkBuro does not collect personal data.

StorkBuro is an offline-first iPhone and iPad app. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no StorkBuro-operated backend service in version 1.0. Your pregnancy details and scanned documents stay on your device.

App privacy summary

Accounts

Sign in with Apple is offered to keep your purchase tied to your Apple ID. The Apple user ID lives in your device Keychain — never on a StorkBuro server.

Tracking

No tracking. No advertising identifiers. No cross-app tracking.

Analytics

No analytics SDKs (no Firebase, no Mixpanel, no Sentry). No usage telemetry leaves your device.

Network

Content is bundled in the app. Network is used only for App Store purchase verification and (optionally) your own iCloud sync.

App Store privacy label

Apple's App Privacy label focuses on data that an app collects from you, including whether the data is linked to you or used to track you. For StorkBuro v1.0, the App Store Connect answer is: No, we do not collect data from this app.

Data Not Collected

StorkBuro does not transmit personal data, identifiers, diagnostics, location, health data, financial data, or usage data to StorkBuro or any third-party partner.

Why Sign in with Apple and iCloud don't change this: the Apple user ID stays in your device Keychain and is never sent to a StorkBuro server. When iCloud sync ships, your pregnancy, documents, and lists live in your own iCloud account, which Apple considers "data not collected" by the developer because it never reaches us.

What StorkBuro stores on your device

StorkBuro uses Apple's SwiftData to store the following locally:

The Apple user ID from Sign in with Apple is held in the iOS Keychain, separately from the above. None of this information is sent to StorkBuro.

iCloud sync

StorkBuro is wired to use Apple's CloudKit for optional cross-device sync. In the current build, CloudKit sync is disabled in code while we finish a schema pass. When sync is enabled in a future update, your data will sync through your own iCloud account — under your Apple ID, in your private database, never to a StorkBuro server.

You can confirm this in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → StorkBuro, and remove the data from iCloud at any time without affecting the copy on the device.

Permissions the app may ask for

You can revoke any of these at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy.

Purchases

Purchases happen through Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and reports the entitlement back to the app. StorkBuro never sees your card details, billing address, or Apple ID purchase history.

Website and support data

The public website storkburo.app is separate from the iOS app. The website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking.

If you email hello@storkburo.app or support@storkburo.app, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send. We use that information only to respond to your support, feedback, legal, or content question.

If you submit your email address through the launch-notification form on the homepage, we use it only to send launch-related StorkBuro updates. The form is processed through a Google Apps Script endpoint that writes to a private Google Sheet. You can request removal at any time by emailing us.

Third-party services

The iOS app contains no third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs.

Outside the app, we rely on standard service providers to operate email support, the launch-notification form, and app distribution through Apple. These providers process only the information needed for those services.

Retention and deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete a record from inside StorkBuro, delete the app, or erase device data. iCloud-synced data (when sync ships) lives in your own iCloud and is removed when you delete it there.

Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and maintain reasonable support records. Launch-notification email addresses remain on the list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.

Children's privacy

StorkBuro is built for adults navigating German parental bureaucracy. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If StorkBuro's data practices change — for example, when iCloud sync ships, or if family sharing is enabled — we will update this page and the date above. App Store privacy answers will be updated when required.
